New Local Bus Service: (Note: Time improvements on those show below are now imminent – so please check on 074 97 41644 or 074 91 48551). A new rural bus service has started on two routes. The first route: Carrigans-Lifford-Carrigans (Fridays only), leaves from Carrigans Post Office, at 7.00pm, arriving in Lifford at 8.15pm. The return journey leaves Lifford at 10.30pm and arrives in Carrigans at 11.45pm. The second route: Carrigans-Letterkenny-Carrigans (Fridays only) leaves from Carrigans Post Office at 10.00am and arrives in Letterkenny at 11.40am. The return journey leaves Letterkenny New Retail Park at 3.00pm and arrives in Carrigans at 4.45pm. This is a flexible ‘hail & ride’ service, or ring the day before for collection.
