A St Johnston man, Mr James McMenamin, has been appointed Chairman of the Justice and Peace Committee for the commission area of Dunfermline, Scotland. He was made a Magistrate in 1972 with Lochgelly Town Council and sat in the Burgh Court. He now sits in Dunfermline District Court. Mr McMenamin is a native of Magheracloy, St Johnston, and a son of the late Mr Thomas and Sarah McMenamin.
